The main idea for this deck is to compress with memory, being able to cancel a lot more after the second and third refresh. Early Play your Kato for good advantage and eventually finish with your Restander or clock kick.
Why should I play this?
Pros - Great compression with memory engine. Kato Early Play combo is unique. Have some of the best level 0 engine.
Cons - You rely on Coinflip for your Level 1 Plussing. Stock can become an issue as most of your level 0 makes you pay a cost.
Reasoning for cards:
4x Eriri Fond Memory - Most people would play this at 2 or 3, but with how I built this deck, the power level is a bit low, so the additional 2k goes a long way to winning lanes, especially at level 0 and 1. Also helps your finishers reverse cards and adds to your memory game.
4x Izumi Surprise Present - Runner and a Memory Akatsuki, Too good not to run at 3 or 4.
4x PR Megumi, Flat Position - Great Utility for free mill and hand fix, also sets up your level 3 Clock Kick Kato. You can probably get away with only 3 copies, but I bought 4 Foiled PR, so I might as well make my money worth it.
3x Utaha, Night for Two - On reverse Riki to memory. +1 to hand and sets up memory, pretty value. You can run the green hand Riki to search CX and Events, but I like the memory set-up.
3x Utaha, Reliable Senpai - Amagi that can bounce itself. Plussing, Buffing and allowing you to actively use Standby CX without having to sack a backrow. One of the biggest plusser of the deck.
2x Megumi, Story Until Dreams Fulfilled - Standard tap self brainstorm. Back up if you have extra stock, NEED stuff from WR and if you know your CX positions.
1x Utaha, Acrimony-Type Senpai - SItuational use for when you have too much CX in hand.
4x Nendoid Utaha - Your Plussing Level 1 that relies on coinflip to stay on board. Decent body that can each 6k. Standby target and also matches color with standby triggers if you can only get 1 color for level 1.
2x Eri Kashiwagi's Little Love Message Board - Standard 1/1 search. Adds memory compression and it's recollection effect helps ditch CXs.
3x Megumi, Too Hard to Notice - Semi Level 3 killer, your changer to get your level 3 Kato from memory. Level 2 is late enough for you to get one to hand.
2x Nendroid Megumi - Good Standby Target, at 2 since you should have a decent mill by Level 1.
1x Megumi, Distance Closed - Anti-change bomb with hand encore, also a decent Standby Target.
1x Utaha, Crude Instigation - Anti- change back-up, pretty standard.
4x Megumi, Ideal Girl - Your whole end game plan. Run 4 to be able to send it to memory early, also a decent standby target if you trigger on the second or third attack.
3x Megumi, Colorful Outfits - Early Play Healer that heals, also helps power up your other two finishers.
1x Utaha, Creator's Pride - Back-up finisher, used in some cases, at such a point that you should have been easily able to dig for it. Doesn't do much besides restand utility wise, that's why it's at 1.
