Standby/Switch Sword Art Deck. This is the list I played at the regionals to an overall 7-1 record(4-1 in Swiss and 3-0 in Top). My loss was to TLR which I then beat in top cut. Our team ran KS-SAO-AoT.
Made some changes to make standby more powerful: changed 1 copy of Kirito 1/0 for 1 Silica 1/1. Played an extra brainstorm. Deck ran very well and consistently got out Silicas at level 0. Even had one game where I got three out at level 0. Brainstorm has discard synergy with standby, and the act 500 is a very relevant secondary ability. The deck allows you to even wall of AoT with the off-turn global 1k, and 2k backups. Off-turn global 1k is a super underrated card that helps you dig extremely well and turn your Silicas into very strong walls. I play a 1/1 backup for the utility and soul trigger, but it can easily be changed for another 1/0 backup.
Despite not many search abilities, the deck does really well at digging for cards at grade 3 with 4 Asuna level 3s, Kirito bond/akatsuki, brainstorms, silica 0, etc. You just have to be careful to hold enough playable cards(cost 0s) if there is a chance for you not to level to 3. Multiple times I had to dig for the CX through 25 cards and a refresh, but it is possible with the large amount of stock that standby saves you. Although the deck is not amazing at killing compressed opponents, this can be remedied somewhat if they have lanes for you to side on. I would recommend always siding against a level 2/1 on your first attack on switch turn, unless they're at 2/4-2/5 or something.
Overall, I'm very happy with how the deck ran. I'm not sure if I would play this deck in a non-trios format, but it is definitely very strong in the EN format. It has a few problematic matchups, notably TLR and AoT, which is then made worse by the fact those decks also run wind triggers, but the deck definitely benefits from the fact that there are few truly broken finishers at level 3 like there are in JP.
